The textbook collection is primarily composed of textbooks and other "approved materials" identified by the Ontario Ministry of Education and published on the Trillium List. The collection encompasses older textbooks that have expired from the list, as well as a small number of textbooks from outside Ontario. Textbook materials may include:
- teacher's guides
- student workbooks (not photocopiable unless explicitly stated)
- solution manuals
- readers
- CD-ROMs
- and other components
