The Library's 3D printing service is available to all current students, faculty and staff. We are here to help you access 3D printers and to provide learning opportunities through appointments, workshops and our online tutorial.
Material Cost: The cost is based on the amount of material (PLA filament) you use: $0.10 per gram. We provide quotes. We will provide you with a quote for your approval, and estimated completion time.
Book an appointment with staff and a 3D printer. You must complete the tutorial (15 min) and quiz (5 min) before booking. At your first appointment, we will provide you with 20 min. of mandatory hands-on training. You will then have supervised access to a 3D printer for a set length of time, and your file can continue printing afterward for an approved length of time. This is a new, pilot service and we welcome your feedback.
Book an Appointment with StaffDo you want to learn about 3D printing, ask questions, or discuss a project? Book an appointment with a staff person.
